A boy named Takato likes to play the Digimon Card Game with his friends and one day while rushing to school after playing he drops his cards and sees a Blue Card that he had never seen before. He scaned the card in his Digimon card scanner and it lights up. The card turns into an empty digivice. He rushes off to school, but is late. He has to wait outside the classroom. While waiting he draws an imaginary digimon he names Guilmon. Later at home, the digivice scans the digimon he has drawn and he finds he has a digiegg in his digivice. When it hatched he followed directions on the digivice to find the digimon he created, Guilmon! He sneeks it home in a box, but not without his parents suspicious that e has brough home another pet that he is not alowed to have. When he goes to school the next day, he leaves Guilmon in a box in an ally with lots of food and tells him to stay there untill after school. This obviously doesn't work and Guilmon finds his way to Takato's school and reeks havoc by eating all the school lunch and scaring the principals and teachers. Takato searches for him and in the process meets a boy who has a Terriermon. Terriermon tells Takato that he is not a very good Digimon Tamer if he can't even take care of one digimon. Takato finds Guilmon and they go to the park to find a good hiding place for guilmon. At the park they are atacked by a girl and her digimon Renamon that Takato had seen in a dream (or was it a dream???).
There is alot of stuff i left out and I'll try to add it in here.
The girl who atacks them, I think her name is Ruki, has been battling many digimon around the city and destroying the Digimon. It seems from watchng her battle, to battle you must scan digimon cards into the digivice to atack, or maybe to give more power to the digimon, it's not quite clear.
There is a small cute digimon who is wandering around the city, i don't know its name, but it was being chased by a large digimon in the first scene of the episode.
There are three mysterious people that are working in some sort of control room and they have some sort of importance, I think they might be the enemy they will eventually have to fight, but I don't know for sure if they are even bad.
Those who have digimon seem to be called "Digimon Tamers" I had read this a long time before it came out but I am still unsure what that is all about.
I forgot to write down the name of the episode today, I know the japanese title is someinging along the lines of "The birth of Guilmon; the Digimon I Created" The english name was something along the lines of Guilmon apears....but don't quote me on that! The first two episodes were smushed together into one, so I couldn't have known the english name.....the japanese name is something like terriermon Appears
I just keep adding more.......I think the animator had a thing for sunglasses...no really......I should count the amount of times you see sunglasses just in the theme song, never mind the rest of the show!
One last thing- I think I recognized the voices of the old digidestined in some of the minor charicters of the new show, so keep your ears open!

Guilmon and Renamon are fighting. Takato is telling Guilmon to stop, but it's
like Guilmon is in a fighting trans. Renamon is surprised of how strong
Guilmon is. All of a sudden, Henry comes with Terriermon. Rika's
thoughts...kinda: there goes the neighborhood. Takato gets Guilmon to stop
fighting. Renamon and Rika leave.
Henry, Takato, Terriermon, and Guilmon are hanging out. Terriermon playing with Guilmon....and Henry talking to Takato about digimon.
Later on, Takato sees a line of identical vans with satellites, on the streets. Takato thinks that maybe there's a government experiment going on....and maybe the government's after digimon. He runs to Guilmon's hiding place in the park. He doesn't find him. He keeps looking....and uses his D-Arc. He locates Guilmon. He was playing hide-and-go-seek.
Takato decides that he can walk with Guilmon...and pretend it's a boy in a digimon costume. They're able to pull it off. They are going through a parking lot when Guilmon is attacked by Renamon. Rika wants them to fight. Again...Takato tells Guilmon not to fight...but it's no use...Guilmon is in a fighting trans. All of a sudden....Terriermon and Henry come. Terriermon gets in the middle of Guilmon and Renamon...right when Renamon's about to use diamond storm. Renamon is hessitant to hurt Terriermon...so she points at a car....and the car explodes.
Digivolution....Terriermon digivolve to.......Gargomon (*very cool*). Gargomon starts going crazy. He can't control his power.....and is shooting everywhere. The weird thing is...he's having fun. Henry feel as if Gargomon had never been sweet Terriermon. Henry was very shocked. Gargomon is about to attack Rika...when Renamon hurries to rescue her. Guilmon and Renamon are able to stop Gargomon. You see that Culumon is on a car...and the symbol on its forehead is glowing.
Rika...Mrs. Digimon Queen....is all freaked out. She thinks to herself: Are they always like this when they digivolve? Here and Renamon leave. Henry makes Gargomon stand on his hands so he can de-digivolve. Takato and Guilmon go home...and then Terriermon de-digivolves...and Henry and Terriermon go home.

Henry and Takato are walking with their digimon and a cloud called a Digital Field apears behind them. It begins to chase them and they split up to get away from it. It follows Henry. When it reaches him he is forced to fight a digimon called Gorrilamon. Takato and Henry watch their digimon fight and Henry has a flashback to when he got Terriermon. He had been playing digimon game on the computer and after he quit the game the digimon were still fighting and he realized that it wasn't a game, it was real. He got the Blue Card and got his digivice (or D-Ark or whatever...), and he got Terriermon. Henry doesn't want Terriermon to digivolve because the last time he did, he went crazy shooting his guns everywhere. Instead he digimodified and they defeated Gorrilamon but Henry wouldn't allow Terriermon to absorb the data of Gorrillamon.

Mysterious lines are apearing on the school feild. Henry and Takato discover that is a small digimon named Culumon (?) They decide that it needs a tamer and go on a search for a good tamer for it. they look at Henry's sister but she is too childish and all they can picture is her dressing up Culumon and playing with it like it were a doll. Then they looked at Takato's friend (Kazoo?) and decide that he dosen't care for the Digimon's well being. When he plays the card game he puts all the energy into the atack and none into the defence. Eventually they give up and Culumon bounces away looking for someone to play with.

Rika seems to be obssesed with Renamon's digivolving. Rika sees a Digital field and she and Renamon run to it. They are not able to defeat the Digimon alone and Takato and Henry arive and help to defeat it. Rika is angry about this. There is a flash back to when Rika got her Digimon. It's not too clear but basically she really wants Renamon because it os so powerful. She gets Renamon and the Blue Card for her D-Ark. Renamon is out thinkng on a telephone wire while Rika is sleeping when she encounters a Digimon named Impmon. Impmon tells Renamon how she wants to be like him... free. She tells him that Rika is her friend and her partner runs off. Rika is woken by her D-Ark when Renamon talks to Impmon. she goes off to find Renamo and eventually finds her in a digital field fighting Dokugomon (?). The digimon has spiderwebs everywhere and Renamon tells rika to get out because it is too dangerous. She refuses. Renamon digimodifies but it doesen't help much. She is being beaten severly. The digimon atackes Rika and Renamon blockes the atack but colapses. Rika realizes how mush she cares for Renamon and she digivolves to Kyuubumon and is able to defeat Dokugomon.
9/22/01- Takato and guilmon are walking down the street when Takato looks down at giulmon to see half of hem fading away. Takato is frightened and pulls him away and he goes back to normal. Takato finds Rika and tries to talk to her. She accuses him of liking her and doesen't really want to talk to him. Takato tells Henry about what happend to Guilmon and they wonder if Digimon eventually have to go back to thier own world. They walk by the same place again guilmon once again begins to fade away. Guilmon dissapears. Takato is determined to find him and they notice that their digivices are pointing to a tunnel near by. Takato, Henry and eventually Rika follow their digivices into the tunnel. There they find a large geometric glowing thingy. Guilmon must be in there. The three put on thier respective sunglasses or goggles and go in. Guilmon is bound in mid air but they are able to free him and leave. The mysterious people had tried to destroy this glowing thing that was aparently eating things (I forget what) but it dissapears after Gulimon is releaced.... it's not clear which made it actually go away. Rika seems to be understanding more that Digimon are not just data. (I appologize for the obscurity of this weeks summary...I'm writing this 4 days after the show aired, and I can't remember details!)
the Icemon cometh Origionaly Aired on 10/6/01
- Rika is walking down the street wondering about how digivoulution works. Renamon is so strong and well trained and it did not digivolve untill she was weak and almost defeated and Guilmon and Terriermon who are treated so kindly by their tamers digivolved so easily. All of a sudden she felt as if she were being folowed. She turned around but there was nothing there. Calamon appeard in front of her looking to play. He lept into her arms just as Rika's mother came by. Her mother whined about how terrible it is to be famous, and she commented on the cute stuffed animal that Rika held in her arms.
When Rika returns home she yells at Calamon to scram and Calamon runs off crying. Rika then feals that strange presence again in her room. She calls out for Renamon to look and see what it is. Renamon sees nothing but tells Rika that she will not let anything happen to her. At this statement, Rika tells Renamon that she dosen't need her help. Renamon leaves.
Rika is walking down the street when she feels as if there were someone there again. She is grabed and draged into a digital feild by a Digimon that looks like a white devimon who actually turned out to be Icedevimon. Icedevimon tells Rika that she and he would make a perfect team. She wanted a strong digimon and he was certainly that. She of course refused .... she may be conceited but she is not stupid... Takato and Henry showed up with their Digimon and Calamon watched from a distance as they were frozen solid by Icedevimon.
Renamon appears and attempts to fight Icedevimon, but is only knocked to the ground, attacks useless. Rika watches and feels bad for Renamon. Icedevimon asks her why she cares about Renamon. Rika tells him that Renamon is her friend. At that moment, Renamon digivolves to Kyuubumon (When digivolving, Calamon's triangle thing on its head lit up.... Calamon has somehitng to do with the digimon's digivolution!). Still, Kyuubumon is helpless against Icedevimon.
Terriermon and Guilmon manage to free themselves from the Ice. They digimodify and are able to defeat Icedevimon. The digital feild dissapears. Rika tells them that she hates digimon and storms off. Kyuubumon dissapears and leaves Henry and Takato extreemly confused.
